What is the deal with the news?

It seems that there are at least four on going themes the news reports on regularly: Crime, Hollywood, Sports, and Politics.Who is the ruler of this world and the prince and power of the air? HaSatan!

Now are these the things YHWH wants us to be thinking upon on and regular basis? No it is not. What does Yahweh want us to be thinking upon?

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
