The Pope AND Abortion

Who is the Pope? Biblically speaking he just another human being who has no authority invested in him by YHWH.

Recently he said, “notwithstanding anything to the contrary, to concede to all priests for the Jubilee Year the discretion to absolve of the sin of abortion those who have procured it and who, with contrite heart, seek forgiveness for it” (http://www.latimes.com/world/europe/la-fg-pope-abortion-20150901-story.html).

“The Jubilee Year, which starts in December, is traditionally a period during which Catholics can seek redemption from their sins by visiting St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Such holy years are normally celebrated every quarter of a century, but popes are allowed to call special ones. The last was in 2000, during John Paul II’s reign” (http://www.latimes.com/world/europe/la-fg-pope-abortion-20150901-story.html).

I am sorry but the Word of YHWH says:

“For God is one; and there is but one Mediator between God and humanity, Yeshua the Messiah” (1 Timothy 2:5 Complete Jewish Bible).

Yeshua, seeing their faith, said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” But some of the Torah scholars were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, Why does this fellow speak like this? He blasphemes! Who can pardon sins but God alone?” Immediately Yeshua, knowing in His spirit that they were raising questions this way within themselves, said to them, “Why are you questioning these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to say to the paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, and take your mat and walk’? But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority to pardon sins on earth….” He tells the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home!”  (Mark 2:5-11 TLV)

“Mercy is the very foundation of the church’s life,” Francis said. “The church’s very credibility is seen in how she shows merciful and compassionate love” (http://www.latimes.com/world/europe/la-fg-pope-abortion-20150901-story.html).

No, mercy is a part of it. Apart of what … keeping Torah. These people don’t know their Bible just the Dogma they have learnt and/or programmed with.

Yeshua said, “Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah – not until everything that must happen has happened (Matthew 5:17,18 CJB).

“During the year, bricked-up “holy doors” in Rome’s four basilicas, including St Peter’s, are opened, granting pilgrims a special route to salvation, before they are closed once again at the end of the Jubilee Year” (http://www.latimes.com/world/europe/la-fg-pope-abortion-20150901-story.html).

Ah … “a special route to salvation,” did we read that correctly? Yes, we sadly did. Sorry false brethren, Yeshua is the door and it isn’t bricked up, whooo!!!

“… let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Yeshua ha-Mashiach ha-Natzrati—whom you had crucified, whom God raised from the dead—this one stands before you whole. This Yeshua is ‘the stone—rejected by you, the builders—that has become the chief cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:10-12 TLV)

Just found your blog and from what I’ve read so far, I agree! Regarding the Pope: It made my heart sick to watch the crowds flock around this man as if he were divine. He is certainly not a god or a mouth piece of the one true God and sadly, he is leading people astray, down the broad road to destruction. Thanks for posting this.

Blessings and shalom in Yeshua, from the Hebrew Roots Homestead
